Art Gallery

Whether a sophisticated art collector seeking large investment pieces or an enthusiast wanting smaller affordable works,  our gallery provides a large collection of contemporary and traditional Aboriginal artwork from the Central and Western Desert areas; including Papunya, Yuendumu, St Teresa and Utopia.

Catering to the local and overseas clientele, our aim at Waradah is to honour, promote and foster Aboriginal culture.

Certificate of Authenticity and Documentation

When you buy a painting from Waradah Aboriginal Centre we provide Certificate of Authenticity issued by our Gallery Manager.

This includes:

Documentation for the story associated with the artwork

Biography of the artist

Information on the region

Photos where available

The artwork on display has been purchased either directly from the government community centres, the artists or our associated private art dealers. Artists are paid in full and at an agreed value at the time of purchase, unless on consignment. The price set takes into consideration the artist’s seniority and artistic status, as well as the size and quality of the artwork. For art pieces over $1000, we pay the artist an additional 5% Resale Royalty on the sale price.
