With a multitude of retail experience, Ajay considers it a priority to ensure all visitors to Waradah receive the highest standard of customer care.




Bookings and Admin Supervisor

Tomomi arrived in Australia from Japan with the dual desire to surf and speak fluent English. Having accomplished both objectives, she moved to Katoomba where she joined Waradah. Tomomi’s diligence, attention to detail and propensity for hard work has made her an invaluable member of Waradah’s team.


Sales Assistant

Originally from China, Darleen is in Australia on a year-long working holiday visa. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Darleen has a mature understanding of skills required in providing the highest level of customer service. Her enthusiasm and easy smile have made a particular favourite with visitors and colleagues alike.

Darleen enjoys living among the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains. She starts her day with a bush walk between The Three Sisters and Leura Cascades. She shows particular talents in cooking her traditional Chinese cuisine, and since coming to Australia, she’s mastered making Mousse Cake.



Operations Manager


Matt has a Bachelor Degree in Creative Technology – Sound Production and Engineering – and has worked for various event production companies and studios around Sydney and the Blue Mountains.


K. Samzin

Retail Assistant

Originally from Tibet, Samzin completed her studies in India before moving to Australia in 2014. Prior to joining Waradah, Samzin worked in various retail outlets. She enjoys learning about new cultures and is committed to providing the highest standard of Customer Services to all Waradah visitors. In her spare time, Samzin enjoys cooking dumplings, watching movies and reading.



Retail Assistant

An emerging artist and an enthusiastic traveller, Sarling is on a working holiday from China. Still at Art School in her native city of Chongqing, South of China, Sarling majors in Art History. Having studied Australian Indigenous Art, she has travelled to Australia to increase her understanding of this ancient culture.

Sarling’s quick wit and happy demeanour have made her a popular member of the Waradah team.


Book keeping

Catherine joined Waradah Aboriginal Centre in 2014. She regards her workplace as an exciting, innovative and unique place to learn about Aboriginal Culture.   She brings to her role years of retail and accounting experience and aims to use her skills to substantially increase financial growth at Waradah.



Marketing and Gallery Manager

Bonnie’s flare and personality is a perfect fit to Waradah’s Marketing and gallery team.

Bonnie brings to her role a Bachelor’s in Information Science (specialising in communication) and twenty years experience in retail industry, including books, music and fashion. In addition to her retail career, Bonnie is an Internationally published author, with her books selling in Europe and Australasia.

In her spare time, Bonnie enjoys reading, clean living, experiencing new cultures and escaping to nature.



Theatre Technician

Hailing from Geelong, Victoria, Lachlan Drever form Purple Sky Productions, provides the technical services for Waradah’s Live Aboriginal Performance. With 15 years of event industry experience, Lachlan has worked on countless productions including Circus De Soleil, The Voice, and Les Misresables as behind the scenes lighting technician and designer.
