Bookings and Admin Supervisor

A keen boogie boarder, Tomomi arrived in Australia from Japan with the dual desire to surf and speak fluent english. Having accomplished both objectives, she moved to Katoomba where she joined Waradah. Tomomi’s diligence, attention to detail and propensity for hard work has made her an invaluable member of Waradah’s team.

Lockie and Matt

Theatre Service Technicians

With a combined 20+ years experience in the entertainment production industry, Lachlan Drever and Matt Jones from Purple Sky Productions, provide the technical services for Waradah Aboriginal Centre’s Live Performances.

Lachlan has worked on countless productions including Circus De Soleil, The Voice, and Les Misresables behind the scenes as a lighting technician and designer, while Matt has a Bachelor Degree in Creative Technology – Sound Production and Engineering, and has worked for various event production companies and studios around Sydney and the Blue Mountains.

K. Samzin

Retail Assistant

Originally from Tibet, Samzin completed her studies in India before moving to Australia in 2014. Prior to joining Waradah, Samzin worked in various retail outlets. She enjoys learning about new cultures and is committed to providing the highest standard of Customer Services to all Waradah visitors. In her spare time, Samzin enjoys cooking dumplings, watching movies and reading.

Catherine

Book keeping

Catherine joined Waradah Aboriginal Centre in 2014. She regards her workplace as an exciting, innovative and unique place to learn about Aboriginal Culture.   She brings to her role years of retail and accounting experience and aims to use her skills to substantially increase financial growth at Waradah.

Bonnie

Marketing and Gallery Manager

Bonnie’s flare and personality is a perfect fit for Waradah’s Marketing and gallery team.

Bonnie brings to her role a Bachelor’s in Information Science (specialising in communication) and twenty years experience in retail. An acclaimed author, Bonnie’s work have been published in Australia, New Zealand, Portugal and Germany.

In her spare time Bonnie enjoys reading, clean living, experiencing new cultures and escaping to nature.
