Adventurous outdoor enthusiast from Sweden with a passion for people and the planet. Hiking the Blue Mountains, Annica fell in love with the beauty and decided to make Katoomba her home away from home.

In Sweden, Annica is an engineer with a passion for challenge and learning. She is driven by the question “how do I make it better?”, striving for ways to improve herself, a quality which she has brought with her into her current role at Waradah.

The opportunity to get immersed in Aboriginal Culture is something she holds dear. Working behind the scenes in the theatre, Annica supports Waradah’s performers in developing and improving the live shows.

“There is nothing better than helping someone live into more of their brilliance and potential.” Annica says.

Retail Manager

With a multitude of retail experience, Ajay considers it a priority to ensure all visitors to Waradah receive the highest standard of customer care.

A keen boogie boarder, Tomomi arrived in Australia from Japan with the dual desire to surf and speak fluent english. Having accomplished both objectives, she moved to Katoomba where she joined Waradah. Tomomi’s diligence, attention to detail and propensity for hard work has made her an invaluable member of Waradah’s team.

Retail Assistant

Holly’s people are from Ngiyampaa country and speak Wangibon language. She loves her job at Waradah as it exposes her not only to her Aboriginal culture, but also helps her gain a better understanding of other cultures from around the world.

Retail Assistant

Originally from Tibet, Samzin completed her studies in India before moving to Australia in 2014. Prior to joining Waradah, Samzin worked in various retail outlets. She enjoys learning about new cultures and is committed to providing the highest standard of Customer Services to all Waradah visitors. In her spare time, Samzin enjoys cooking dumplings, watching movies and reading.

Book keeping

Catherine joined Waradah Aboriginal Centre in 2014. She regards her workplace as an exciting, innovative and unique place to learn about Aboriginal Culture.   She brings to her role years of retail and accounting experience and aims to use her skills to substantially increase financial growth at Waradah.

Bonnie

Marketing and Gallery Manager

Bonnie’s flare and personality is a perfect fit for Waradah’s Marketing and gallery team.

Bonnie brings to her role a Bachelor’s in Information Science (specialising in communication) and twenty years experience in retail. A published author, Bonnie’s work have been published in Australia, New Zealand, Portugal and Germany.

In her spare time Bonnie enjoys reading, clean living, experiencing new cultures and escaping to nature.
